My Ultimate Face Mask!

Hello everyone… I hope all is well of course. You all are probably wondering where in the world I’ve been! Well, I have decided to go back to college. This whole summer has been dedicated to getting ready for that, and just having fun. I don’t like the fact that my blog took a back seat for awhile, but unfortunately it has.

Enough with the updates, I have an exciting experience to share with everyone! A little back story, at the beginning of middle school I started getting migraines. (They are a family trait I wish I never got) One day my mom took me to The Body Shop and we bought a cooling face mask just to try…. It worked wonders! Fast forward twelve years (Yes twelve!), my beloved mask has started to lose its magic. A lot of the blue gel inside has dissipated. IMG_3601

Well, one night I was browsing The Body Shop website and what did I find?!? The same mask in PINK! (My favorite color btw) I could have cried, twelve years later and I find a new one? Crazy! But wait its only $4.80? With FREE SHIPPING? This must be a joke… NOPE!

This mask is a life saver, it helps with a number of things:
-Puffy eyes
-Migraines/Headaches
-Hot days to cool off

It stays pretty cool on its own but you can place it in the freezer for a bit to get cold. It has a strap with velcro. I’m just in love with this mask honestly, there are so many good things I could say about it. I mean you have to love something to buy it twice.

July Empties!

Hello everyone… I hope all is well as usual! July has been packed with so much which has reflected in my lack of posts! For that, I am truly sorry.

At last, I’ve saved up my all my beauty trash and here today to give you my July empties. Yay! I love the idea of looking at what others have finished so I hope you do to.

IMG_3564Starting with the Home Grown Fresh Picked makeup wipes. I felt these were so-so, nothing to write home about, but did the job. They smelt fine and I used them for much more than just removing my makeup. I felt like the pack was never ending!

Up next was the OOZOO Face Injection Mask. Which I did a review on my blog. (Shameless Plug) I loved this mask and plan to buy many more. Oh, and did I mention they have more than one!

Bubble Bath Pearls, I got these on sale at OLD NAVY. Yes, Old Navy! They were those little balls with an oil inside, definitely a 90’s throw back. They really didn’t do anything but hey they were fun!IMG_3563

Sephora Charcoal Nose Strip… I’m not sure how I felt about this strip. It pulled out some black heads just like the bore strips, but… the smell! (Omg) It was so strong, plus its right on your nose. I would not repurchase.

Hey Smile, I’m not sure what this is called I would want to say the “bleaching” agent. I love my hey smile system. I use it all the time (I’m sorta obsessed,) and its super affective.

Dollar Tree bath soak? Enough said. I didn’t like it one bit, I do not know what I was thinking when I bought it. I love the dollar store but their bath products are a no-go for me.

Loreal Face Masks are awful, they burnt my skin. I didn’t even finish them.

Benefit Porefessionals, I have rebought this product a million times. It’s my perfect primer and I would never switch! I’m a die hard fan.

Thats pretty much it! I hope you enjoyed reading about my empties. Oh did anyone peep the new background? Are we fans?

Face Injection Sheet Mask?

Hello everyone, I hope all is well. A couple blogs back I posted a Forever21 Haul. In this haul I showed a crazy looking sheet mask that included a syringe (yes, a syringe.) I was itching to try it and after a terrible makeup wipes mishap, I decided it was time! (Btw, DO NOT buy makeup wipes just because they are on sale!)

The Oozoo Mask is suppose to help hydrate your skin. It retails for around the five dollar mark. The sheet mask itself is made from a 100% cotton. IMG_3378

The mask was fairly easy to assemble….. yeah I know, but yes we are still talking about a SHEET MASK! IMG_3379

You take out the syringe press the top button down, and push all the product into the mask package. Shake it up! Then, you take the mask out and apply it to the face for 15-20 minutes. (Or 30-45 minutes…) IMG_3376

Final Thoughts: I was so impressed with this mask! I will buy more, many more! My skin felt cool and so much better after the makeup wipes. The mask is very hydrating, and it helps your face stay hydrated! Plus, it was super fun to do!

Question of the day- Will you be trying this mask?

Smokey Copper Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone… I hope all is well! Today’s post is a makeup tutorial on this smokey copper look. Which is a beautiful look for summer! (Well, I think so.)

Honestly, my face makeup is the same as any other makeup posts I have (shameless plug.) If you would like to see how it’s done, click the link!IMG_3312

Starting out, I used Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer all over both lids.

Then, I take my Lorac Pro Palette and apply the shade “Porcelain” all over my lids as well.

Continuing with my crease, I place “Twany” and “Burlap” to smoke it out, and to deepen the look I use “Goji.” (Yes, all three in my crease!)

Switching over to my Too Faced Vegas Nay Star Dust palette (No Longer Available), I use “Double Tap” on the lids. To add a little sparkle, I dust on some “Showgirl” to the middle of my lids.

The last step is to blend out some “Porcelain” on my brow bone to highlight the area!

DON’T FORGET TO BLEND EVERY STEP!

(Bam! Eyeshadow done!)

Finally, I use Lorac’s Black Liquid Eyeliner and wing it out. I did use a thicker line on my lids.

I apply a couple of coats of Essence Lash Princess and TA-DA!IMG_3313

I hope everyone enjoyed this quick and easy eye look. Please don’t forget to comment any  concerns or questions… Lets chat!

All Things Eyebrows!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. It was time to wax/shape my eyebrows so, I figured, ummm hey it’s the perfect time to do a blog post about them.

We live in a society where eyebrows are of super importance. (I pride myself on my bushes!) I don’t know who has and who has not read my “About Me” post (Shameless Plug,) but I’m a trained cosmetologist. I do my own brows at home!

So, why not do a tutorial on how I get these bad boys: (System I Use)

IMG_3197

First- I clean the area with Pre Hon to remove all the dirt and oils from my skin.

Second- I smooth the wax down, then use cotton strips to rip off the hair!

Third- I then brush the hairs up and cut them to further shape the brows.

Forth and final – I wipe my brows with cooling gel.

This is how I wax and shape them!IMG_3198

Filling them in is a different story:

I trace each brow with the elf eyebrow kit  (I really love this kit,) then with a small angled brush I go back in and fill them in.IMG_3199

Using a spooly, I brush through the brows making them even and less cakey.IMG_3200

Then I use the Anastasia brow gel to set the brows.IMG_3201

Sculpting out the eyebrows is the final step, I use benefits boing concealer and blend it out with a brush. IMG_3202

Perfectly Posh Haul and Review!

Hello everyone! I hope all is well as usual. Today, is a super exciting haul/review from a company called Perfectly Posh.

A little while ago I got in contact with one of their consultants and we decided to do a collaboration! Abby was sweet enough to send me a package with products and samples to try out. I’ve tried out each product a few times to get an accurate opinion.

Before I go into detail for each one I want to talk about the company itself. All of the containers are made from recycled material, they use naturally based products as well as being cruelty free and every thing is made in the USA.

First product is the Big Fat Yummy Hand Creme in Boho Soul- (4 out of 5) $9.00
Smell- Spiced fruits, amber and Oud wood.
The hand creme is amazing it makes your hands super soft and it smells so good. Very spicy, but not overwhelming. It doesn’t leave the hand greasy or sticky which is a plus considering it is so hydrating. IMG_3136

Next product is the Lemon Wedge Caffinated Lip Balm- (5/5) $5.00
Smell- Lemon (Obviously)
Okay, let me tell you about this lip balm! I swear by it now. It has the tingly feeling, and my lips are so smooth. I don’t have the need to keep reapplying it like most lip balms. It smells so nice, and the packaging looks like a vintage cleaner. And to top it off it’s only five dollars! IMG_3137

Next product she sent me was the Crackle Spackle Detoxifying Face Mask- (5/5) $19.00
Smell- Mint and Charcoal
It smells so good! The mask itself tingles and feels so cooling. I usally can’t use new products with out breaking out the first time but this soothed my skin and my black heads were noticeabley smaller and cleaned out! I love this mask and will definitely be repurchasing it!IMG_3135

Last product is a tool! Its a face mask silicone brush. I give it a 5/5 because its shaped so perfect! It applies the mask evenly without patches.

Each product has amazing packaging… super fun and colorful.

I wanna give a huge shout out to Abby Smith for gifting me these products! I’m going to link all her information below if you want to try any of these out or anything else she sells.

Your Girl Is An Influenster

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. I’m very excited to tell everyone that I’m now an Influenster! I got my first package in the mail from Maybelline with their new “City Mini Palettes”!

I was sent the palette in the color “Concrete Runway.” I would never have picked these colors for myself, but it’s something new and fresh I can play with. I get stuck in a rut of neutrals. IMG_3071

The palette retails for $9.99 and comes in six different shade combos. I like the way it’s compact and has smaller pans (obviously it’s a mini palette). The shades are super pigmented and tend to not have any fall out. It’s the perfect mix between neutrals and fashion shades which is great to make a day and night look! Each shade is also consistent in color and not patchy. IMG_3078

I was sent this product complimentry for testing purposes but all options are my own!

If you have any concerns or questions please let me know in the comments below!

Question of the day- Would you pick up one of these mini palettes/ what do you think about them?

DIY Body Scrub + Update!

Hey everyone! Long time no chat. The past week or so I’ve had a few personal/family things come up that needed my full attention. I’m finally back and ready to get back in my normal blogging routine.

So, a little story time, I’ve notice my skin has been a bit dull lately and I figured a good body scrub would be the trick. I went into Ulta because they now sell the Frank coffee scrubs, I was super excited btw, and come to find out they do not carry it in my store. Well, that was a bust! Instead of ordering it online and waiting for it to get in I just made my own.

It was amazing! My skin feels so smooth and soft, the smell is so good too. Plus that dull look is completely gone. The scrub turned to coffee as I rinsed it with warm water. The scrub was a lot of fun to make and apply.

Body scrub recipe:
Coffee (ground up)
Brown sugar
Course Salt
Avocado Oil
Olive Oil
Filter waterIMG_2880

I mixed it all together and applied it that night. I used more dry ingredients than liquid, but I didn’t use any exact amounts. I just eyeballed it till it looked super thick. The oils can be substituted for what ever you have!

I applied it just like body wash and then rinsed. I then used body wash because of the left over oils and such. It is very messy just fyi!

I will be trying the Frank body scrub as soon as it comes in the mail! To see if mine is comparable, mine costed around $2 dollars to make because I had most of the ingredients on hand. The Frank body scrub is about $17.

Well, if you have any questions or concerns let me know in the comments. Lets chat!

Question of the day- Have you tried the Frank body scrubs?

xoxo, Victoria
